Events kick off at Bill Jeffries Park, Delegate with markets stalls, food and drink and old time sports on Saturday morning. Heritage games for the whole family include the tug of war, egg and spoon race, three legged race and the Snowy River Sprint.
After lunch on Saturday visitors can enjoy afternoon tea at the old Settler's Hut while the Bundian Way Gallery will officially open their latest exhibition with wine and nibbles at the gallery.
Action at Bill Jeffries Park continues with a Bombala cricket game in the afternoon and dinner with entertainment at the Delegate Country Club that evening.
On Sunday morning, the inaugural Bundian Way walk between Delegate and the lookout on the top of the Craigie Range takes place.
Prior to the walk, ultra-marathon runner Wayne McMurtrie will begin a 350km ultra-marathon from Delegate to Goulburn retracing the steps of the historic WW1 Men from Snowy River Recruitment March and taking seven days.
McMurtrie will run the 350kms in remembrance of the 144 men who answered the call in 1916 and joined in the Men from Snowy River March and also to share awareness of the challenges facing Australia's contemporary veterans.
Following a presentation by McMurtrie at a shared heritage walk breakfast, he and his crew will begin their marathon followed by John Blay, members of the Eden Land Council and interested parties that will walk off on the same route to the top of the Craigie Range.
"Once we're at the top of the Craigie Range there will be a ceremony for the opening of signage of the Bundian Way overlooking Delegate Hill," Progress Association spokesperson Ian Sellers said.
"There will be buses or transport back to town for lunch at the School of Arts and the launch of the Bundian Way app."
