A candidate in the state and federal elections this year, Andrew Thaler had earlier pleaded not guilty to charges of intimidation with threat of violence, and harrassment via a carriage service, both allegedly directed at the same woman.
The matters were first heard in December 2018 during campaigning for the elections.
In May the intimidation charge was dismissed following a hearing in Bombala Local Court, and the harrassment charge was withdrawn and officially dismissed in the Bega Local Court on July 9.
The matters returned to Bombala Local Court this week, August 6, for a determination on costs, as well as to deal with a lesser charge of hindering police.
On that matter, Mr Thaler was handed a conditional release order of 12 months with no conviction recorded.
