"The best thing about the girls is everyone contributes to the team although there are a couple of standouts with Tayla Ventry, Karter Hampshire, Georgia Jones and Patrice Clear all playing really well.
"Our more experienced players - Katrina Brownlie, Sue Morgan, Monique Perkins and Patrice Clear's combined effort with the rest of the team is what makes the women so successful."
Ryan also thanked the ladies' coach Brian Morgan.
"Coach Morgan is very experienced from his days of playing footy and a lot of the credit for the women's success goes to him as well as the girls," president Ryan said.
"Generally the Blue Heelers football club has had another good year.
"Credit also goes to first grade coach Joe Bobbins and reserve grade coach James Coates.

At the Group 16 awards on the weekend, Bombala High Heeler Patrice Clear was awarded equal Best & Fairest player along with Tamika Millard of Eden.
"Congratulations to Patrice Clear on her win. It is to her credit that she plays the way she does, she is a leader, it doesn't matter what game and she is a standout," Ryan said.
