The winner with the good score of 39 points was Di Ingram. Balls went to Eva L'Estrange 37 pts, Jean McLean 33 pts, Heather Brown 32 pts on a c/b from Gay Kennedy 32 pts.
NTP on the 17th was won by Eva L'Estrange. Marlene Kennedy had a great gobbler on the 5th.
Saturday at the club was Men of League Day. It's believed the organisers were disappointed that their day was not as well supported by the footballers as they had hoped.
The winners were Braden Sten, Luke Kimber, Rick Ryan and Joel Cherry 56.375.
Sunday was a Mixed Grill for K Elton and B Tonks Trophies.
Ross and Heather Brown had a great day winning with the 56.5 nett. Balls were won by Ross and Heather and well behind Cary Elton and Mick Brown 63.5 nett on a c/b from Merv Douch and Pepper Thompson.
NTP on the 17th won by Mick Brown.
Sunday was also the playoff of the mixed foursomes played over 18 holes between Brendan Weston and Di Ingram and Steve Tatham and Dawn Douch.
There were some sad stories with balls hitting twigs or pine cones and ending up in strange places. Might add not bad shots just bad luck, but always added an extra shot to the score.
Brendan and Di were winners with 87. Dawn and Steve scoring a 92.
Congratulations to Di and Westy, the 2019 mixed foursomes champions.
