Delegate Pony Club held its October rally on Sunday and despite the wind it was smooth sailing for the riders.

Riders were split into three groups that were determined by their age and riding ability.
Group 1 worked on their techniques with riding unassisted. They played games to help them learn to steer, mount and general balance.
They also went through horsemanship with these riders and parents.
Group 2 and 3 worked on flat work, dressage and diagonals. They also enjoyed a training session using Delegate Pony Clubs newly built cross country jumps.
All the riders finished their day with some fun games and sporting activities. Next rally November 3, 9.30 gear check for a 10am start.
Delegate Pony Club is running a two day training day November 23 and 24.

Golf
Bombala ladies golfers played a stroke for the 5th Club Medal & Putting & G. Withers Trophy. The winner was Jean McLean with 71 nett. Good results Jean.
Balls were won by Betty Crawford 72 nett, Joy Douch 76 nett and Di Ingram 76 nett and Janet Cowell 79 nett. Putting won by Di Ingram 25 putts. NTP on the 7th Di Ingram. Janet Cowell had a gobbler on the 7th.
Members on Saturday played a stroke for the Monthly Medal. Tony Brady was the winner with 71 nett. All his practice during the week must have helped.
Balls were won by Tony and Wayne Elton 71 nett. Wayne has also been getting some practice in.
NTP on the 17th won by Chris Halligan.
Sunday was a Par for T Gronow Trophy. Brendan Weston had a good round winning with a + 1. Balls were won by Westy, Ray Crawford - 1 and Tony Brady - 1. No one got NTP.

Ladies: Wednesday - Stableford. Deb Ingram Trophy. Saturday, October 12 - Delegate Open Tournament.
Members: Saturday, October 12 - Stableford Club Trophy. Sunday, October 13 - Delegate Open Tournament Duty roster: Saturday - Ross Brown.
Monaro Stages Rally
The Kosciuszko Automotive Monaro Stages Rally has been running for three years.
It is run by the Light Car Club of Canberra.
Last year the event won the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) Best State Event for NSW/ACT.
The Monaro Stages Rally departs Cooma on Saturday, October 19.
Drivers are looking to use the Monaro Stages Rally as a final shakedown before the Alpine Rally.
