The course and facilities were presented in terrific order by all those who had volunteered their efforts.
There was a very good crowd in attendance, and the fields for the six-race program were well supported by trainers from Canberra, Goulburn and the local region, and also a significant contingent from Pakenham and Bairnsdale in Victoria, to whom a special thank you was extended for the long journey made.
There was no doubt added incentive for connections due to the increased prize money that was on offer.
The results of the races were as follows:
Monaro Wool/Schute Bell/Club Bombala Maiden - Will She Ever trained by Darryll Kell, ridden by Patrick Scorse.
Landmark Bombala/Village Ford Benchmark 50 - The Inflamer trained by Nick Olive, with Patrick Scorse completing a double.
JB Plumbing & Gas Benchmark 50 - Hercegovka trained by Jack van Duren, ridden by Amy McLucas.

Dongwha Bombala Cup - Ruth's Boy trained by Michael Templeton, ridden by Belinda Wright.

The Bombala and Districts Jockey Club said the success of the races would not be possible without the significant contribution of the sponsors, with most of whom the club enjoys long-term relationships.
"Dongwha Australia as the major sponsor is especially acknowledged. The viability of the race club and the ability to continue in efforts to improve the day is only possible through this support. Thank you," the club added.
Trackside, Fashions on the Field was proudly sponsored by Powers IGA, Bombala Shoe Shed, Maybe Décor, Mainstreet Clothing and Birdsnest.
This year the weather was again unkind with a cold front of rain and hail descending on fashions.
The club thanked Jan Murphy and Wendy Wilton for braving the weather to undertake this year's judging and congratulated all contestants.
