Bombala won the toss and chose to bat first.
The visitors lost an early wicket with Mark Tonks falling in the third over. This allowed Brad Tonks to join Adams at the crease.
The pair rotated strike consistently and put away anything that was over pitched or short. Finding the boundary regularly ensured the run rate kept ticking over.
Adams was on track for his 50 before the Ross family combined to remove him, Grant taking a sharp catch off the bowling of his young son.
Bannister joined Tonks, however his stay was short lived. Power came and soon he became the younger Ross's third scalp, with the young spinner removing the middle order.
Sullivan combined with Tonks and took the score past 200 before Sullivan was removed by another good catch from Ross.
Tonks started to unleash on the bowling, hitting them to all areas of the park and beyond.
Tonks showed his class, edging closer to the magical 100, bringing about his ton with another boundary.
With wickets falling around him, Tonks then really took to the bowling hitting six after six. He raced to, and beyond, 150 in quick time. An innings of power and touch was rewarded with a not out score of 163 with Bombala all out for a daunting 288.
K Ross was the pick of the Dalgety bowlers ending up with 3/40 and was well supported by M Reid.
The Dalgety innings started shakily, losing the first wicket in the third over with only four runs on the board.
Kerry was quick to punish the bowling hitting both bowlers to the boundary. However this proved to be his downfall, going for one that wasn't quite there and being caught by Mark Tonks.
Sullivan quickly backed up that wicket removing Bartle. Ward and Rogers showed great resistance and combined for numerous overs holding the bowling attack at bay until Ward left one and lost his off stump to the bowling of Power.
Ross was removed by Sullivan picking up his third wicket. Bannister backed up the work Power had done claiming a wicket in his first, second and third overs. Stephenson also chimed in picking up a couple of wickets to finish off a gallant Dalgety innings of 64. It was a huge effort from Dalgety considering the number of juniors playing. Signs look good for the future!
