The main street of Bombala will close at 5pm in order for the festivities to kick off, with colourful sights and sounds spreading out across the main business district.
Bombala Chamber of Commerce president Zoe Joseph said, "We're bringing back the Street Carnival."
Businesses will remain open until 9am and there will be street stalls, a chocolate wheel and raffles. Bombala Rotary and Lions will also be there helping out.
"We are even expecting a visit from Santa," Ms Joseph said.
The major prize in the raffle is a $1000 'Why Leave Town' gift card donated by the Bombala IGA that can be used in any of the participating businesses.
The 'Why Leave Town' gift card is an initiative of the Bombala Chamber they put in place about a year ago to encourage residents to 'shop local'.
Why Leave Town gift cards can be purchased at Tags Inside & Out, Murphy's Transport, the Delegate RTC, Borderline Gallery Delegate and Bombala Garden Jewells.
Participating businesses where you can use the Why Leave Town gift cards are: Village Ford, Tree of Life Papercraft, the Heritage Guest House, Tags Inside & Out, Priscilla's at the Heritage, Murphy's Transport and Building Supplies, Maybe Decor, Bombala Garden Jewells, Lou Lous, Bombala Cycles and Chainsaws, Ingram Quality Meats, Herbs with Altitude, Hair on Main, the Delegate Cafe, D.M.
