Snowy Monaro Regional Council mayor Peter Beer updates residents at bushfire meeting at Club Bombala on Thursday.
Free disposal of domestic waste and green waste will apply from Wednesday 8 January until the close of business Monday, January 13.
A number of waste disposal centres have additional trading days and hours to help residents with bush fire preparation.. Adaminaby Transfer Station is open Wednesday 8 January from 10am until 3pm. Berridale Transfer Station is open Wednesday 8 January from 10am until 3pm. Bombala Landfill is open on Thursday, January 9 from 10am until 4pm
All other facilities will be open as normal.
