The Mount Gladstone hill climb is a 1km run up Mount Gladstone Road that is rated by NSW Car Events as "one of the very best Hillclimbs in NSW". The outright Mount Gladstone track record is 39.46s, which was set by Reece McIntosh in a VW Golf R in May 2017.
On the day, there will be a minimum of 4 x 1 km runs for each competitor.
Entries and entry forms
The event is conducted under Motorsport Australia (CAMS) rules and regulations. Competitors must be financial members of Cooma Monaro Historic Automobile Club or other invited clubs affiliated with Motorsport Australia, and must hold a Motorsport Australia Level 2 Speed Event Licence.
Vehicle Classes are as nominated in the Supplementary Regulations and include road registerable Type 1-2 2WD production vehicles, modified Type 3 AWD vehicles, and range up to more highly modified Type 4 production based 2WD vehicles (sports sedans).

Family friendly event
The Mount Gladstone hill climbs are family friendly events.
Location: Mount Gladstone Road track, about 4 km west of Cooma off the Snowy Mountains Highway.
Times: The hill climbs will run from 9.30am to around 4pm.
Spectators and family can arrive at any time as a courtesy shuttle bus will run all day taking spectators from the bottom to the top and back again after each run. There is no charge for spectators. Food and (non-alcoholic) drinks are available.
