Members played a Stableford for Club Trophy on Saturday.
It was a small field with players at Coolamatong for the Pennants. Pepper Thompson had a great round 78 off the bat maybe the same as his age, 41 Stableford Points. Pepper also won the ball.
Pennant results: Bombala defeated Delegate 3/2. Coolamatong defeated Jindabyne 3/2.
Sunday's Foursomes Championships was played over 27 holes. There was lots of sad tales of what they did to their partners and how they recovered playing from positions they hadn't seen before. By the sounds of laughter covid-19 wasn't in anyone minds during the afternoon.
The Foursomes Champions for 2020 are Brendan Weston and Wayne Elton 124 in a close result one shot from Joel Cherry and Clay Stewart 125. Believe it was a little nervy at times as these chaps were in the same group.
Handicap Champions are Ray Fermor and Steve Tatham 109 nett from Brad Yelds and Tony Brady 112 1/4 nett. Those missed putts cost you Brad and Tony.
