Bombala lady golfers played a Stableford for Club Trophy on Wednesday. Heather Brown had a great round winning with the very good score of 40 pts. Balls were won by Di Ingram 29 pts and Marlene Kennedy 28 pts. NTP on the 17th won by Di Ingram.

What an interesting weekend. With the restrictions due to Coronavirus the club closed however it didn't keep the chaps away from golf. The deck was put to great use, in perfect weather, players were able to keep the required distance while waiting for the draw to be done. For our club having sand greens it made for interesting putting, not sure where the ball was going to end up, but players kept to the rules, no touching the flag or scrapper, one per cart for a change some elected to walk. Everyone was happy just to get out and enjoy their golf.
Saturday was a Stableford for Club Trophy. Ray Crawford with 34 pts was the winner from Pepper Thompson and Merv Douch 32 pts. Lot of stories of missed putts.
Sunday the event was a Par for Club Trophy. We believe Pepper handled the greens better than when he is allowed to have a smooth. He came in the winner on Square. Balls were won by Pepper, Mick Brown - 2 and Brad Yelds - 2. NTP was not won over the weekend.
The golf program will continue for as long as golf is allowed. We ask all players to abide by the rules and park out the back or near the cart sheds, stay on the deck and keep the required distance. By now we all know what is required of us to stay safe.
