The information is then gathered and published in the following week's Golden Oldie and online on our Facebook page.
It has been a couple of weeks since the last Golden Oldie was run on Wednesday, April 8.
The last photo was of the grand opening of Permewans Supermarket that also sold hardware, electrical, and general merchandise. The store was opened on December 5, 1969 and was situated where the IGA supermarket is today and the vacant shop next door.
The names of the Permewans staff members from left are Anthony Parkes, Desley Webster, Ray Fermor and Pauline Thompson.
This week's Golden Oldie is an old Representative rugby league football team from the late '40s possibly at the end of the second world war.
