It was another hard day at the office coping with the run of the course and the greens but Jean McLean handled things well enough to place the flag half way up the 16th Fairway winning the trophy.
Balls went to Joy Douch, Di Ingram and Betty Crawford. NTP on the 5th was won by Joy Douch.
We had a good roll up on Saturday and members enjoyed a beautiful day that wast a vast difference to last Saturday. The event for the day was a Par for B Day Trophy.
The winner of the Trophy was Nutta with + 2. Nutta has won the last three donated trophies out of four. The runner up was Pepper Thompson + 1. Pepper is also striking the ball well.
Balls were won by Nutta, Pepper, Ray Crawford and Brad Yelds both with a - 2. NTP on the 17th won by Rub.
Sunday was a Stroke for the Monthly Medal. The day not so great but we still had a good field. The winner on a c/b was Ray Crawford 72 nett from Chris Halligan. Shame about the three putts on the 17th, Chris it cost you.
Balls went to Ray, Chris, Pepper Thompson 76 Nett and Brad Yelds 77 Nett. NTP on the 17th Chris Halligan.
Pepper had his eye in finding the hole on two occasions. The approach on the 13th was a beauty.
We believe Mick Brown had problems on the second going out of bounds on three occasions and had to keep hitting with the comp a Stroke. Oh the joys of golf.
Match Play: Korie Elton defeated Mick Brown 1 Up.
