A Cooma woman sustained a fractured hand and facial injuries after she was assaulted during an aggravated break-in to the home on Friday night.

Around 10pm, a man went to the house and demanded money from the 48-year-old woman.
When she refused, the man allegedly forced his way into the home and assaulted the woman before stealing cash and fleeing.
Officers from Monaro Police District attended and began an investigation.
The injured lady was treated by paramedics before being taken to Cooma Hospital in a stable condition.
Following inquiries, a 47-year-old man was arrested by police at a nearby service station about 11.20pm.
The man allegedly resisted officers and attempted to assault one of them. A small amount of cannabis was found in his possession and seized.
He was taken to Cooma Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence - inflict actual bodily harm, resist officer in execution of duty, assault police officer in execution of duty without actual bodily harm and possess prohibited drug.
The man was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court on Saturday.
