The Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia has submitted a DA, seeking council's approval to construct a recreational vehicle park in Hawkins Street, Cooma.

On Sunday, September 27, the Bombala Landfill will host our region's Household Chemical Cleanout event.

Council will partner with the NSW Environmental Protection Authority and Cleanaway to provide residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted pesticides, batteries, household cleaners and other chemicals.

The cleanout takes place between 10am and 2.30pm. Only household waste quantities will be accepted. This is a free initiative, and well supported by our community.

New gates have been installed at the Adaminaby and Berridale playgrounds following feedback from our community. The gates will help to bring peace of mind to parents while their children enjoy the recreational areas.

With the school holidays approaching, the team at Snowy Monaro Regional Library has put together another fantastic range of activities. Visit their Facebook page, website or contact council to find out more.
