A total of $56,064,164 million will go towards 26 industry projects in the Eden Monaro.

Australian Minister for Emergency Management, David Littleproud said getting these industries back on their feet will be a vital economic driver in fire affected regions.

"Funding for projects in NSW's forestry, oyster, apiary, apple, horticulture and wine making industries will ensure the continued viability and growth of these local employers.

"This funding will help these businesses keep employing locals, keep spending locally and allow them to play and important role in community recovery after the fires."

The oyster industry fares well with $300,000 available to Broadwater Oysters to develop a 'Flip-Farm' aquaculture system and generate five fulltime positions in the local seafood sector.

$170,404 is available to support the oyster farmers of Wonboyn to assist in the repair of damaged infrastructure following the January 2020 bushfires.

More than a million dollars has been approved to develop a 'Responsible Oyster Farming Program' and $514,400 will go towards an Environmental Risk Management System for the oyster industry in NSW.

Another $113,410 will go towards marketing NSW Oysters with $62,000 to support the development of the oyster export market from Merimbula.

In Eden, funding has also been approved for the installation of an upgraded pallet collar production line and new equipment including a roof mounted fire suppression sprinkler system and the installation of a raw material wood fibre collection bunker, walking floor, biomass dryer and heat plant, raw material storage silo and a higher capacity wood pellet production plant.

A project to replace, upgrade or adapt the damaged Eden export chip facility sees South East Fibre Exports get $945,240 for a power upgrade to the site power distribution network.
