Write to Santa at the North Pole

Children from the Monaro now have an opportunity to write a letter to Santa before Christmas.

Children should write their letters, addressed to 'Santa at the North Pole' and they should be delivered to district post offices.

No postage stamp is required; rather the Post Offices have set up 'Santa Mail Post Boxes' for the letters.

Under this 19-year cooperative program between Cooma Lions Club and the North Pole, Cooma Lions Club has undertaken to act as Santa's agent to deliver the letters to the North Pole; and as in previous years, Santa will reply to all the letters.

Children can write whatever they like, for example they can tell Santa about their past year, and perhaps what they are hoping for as presents.

The only essential requirement is that the letter includes their name, age and address.
