A spokesperson for club said, "Our older players had some and aches and pains and muscles they didn't know they had.
"On Sunday the weather was a little too warm for some however all completed the 54 holes.
"Tiredness was the norm and for one of the players who was silly enough to have a 'big' Saturday night it was a long day. He did manage to have a win though.
"Welcome back Brad Tonks, great to see you back on the course hope we see you more often.
"As always with golf there are sad tales. Going out of bounds on the first hole with your first shot doesn't help ones confidence, three putting greens, short approach shots hitting trees and not getting a good result.
"One player managed to put his drive in the pump shed and the stories continue. Some players improved their score the second day and some didn't. That's golf."
