Bombala lady golfers played a Stableford for Club Trophy of Wednesday with the winner Heather Brown on 35 points. Balls went to Jean McLean 30 points, Joy Douch 26 points. NTP on the 5th was not won.

A club spokesperson said, "The severe winds we have been experiencing lately have been bringing down trees and branches. There are a few widow makers around the course that John has been busy cleaning up. Thanks John."
Members on Saturday played a Stableford for Club Trophy. Considering the windy conditions there was a good field and the scores were good. The winner on a c/b was Wayne Elton from Simon Stephen 38 points. Balls were won by Wayne, Simon and Pepper Thompson 37 points. NTP was on the 7th. Brad Yelds collected a nice little nest egg as it has been a few weeks since someone got on the green.
Sunday the event was a Par for Club Trophy. Pepper Thompson was on fire winning with the good score of + 5. The balls were won by Pepper, Merv Douch +2, Brad Yelds + 2 and Colin Gronow + 1. NTP was on the 13th. Brad Yelds was the winner and came so close to going home with more than a ball. Bad luck Brad but you did give the group in front something to talk about.

Reminder: It may be Closing Day but golf will continue with Chicken Runs each weekend and public holidays. The Chicken Run program will be available next week. Chicken Runs are open to members and non-members with or without handicaps. Come along and enjoy a round of golf.
