Despite the small number of visitors, secretary of the Eurobodalla District Show Society Mary Atkinson said activities at the Moruya Showgrounds were a buzz.
"Unfortunately it wasn't a huge crowd, however there were plenty at the poultry show and lots of entries to that," she said.
Many stopped to check out the animal nursery throughout the weekend.
At 2pm on Saturday, the pet show was a favourite. There were dogs, ducks and chickens competing for a prize.
The ring events entertained and dazzled all day Saturday, then kicked off again early at 7.30am on Sunday.
"We started early as we knew it as going to be hot," Ms Atkinson said.
"It went right through to 3.30pm. We were lucky there was a pleasant breeze across the showground, so we could keep events going."
There was team sorting of cattle in the arena plus a stack of sporting events.
The Shack Shakers got feet tapping on Saturday night, playing their funky tunes from 6pm.
Ms Atkinson thanked sideshow businesses for their support.
"All the side shows setup over the two days weren't making a heap of money, but stayed there and supported us," she said.
The modified Eurobodalla Show was one of few in NSW going ahead this season due to COVID-19.
"It all went extremely smoothly," Ms Atkinson said.
"The crucial thing was that we closed all the pavilions and everything was outdoors."
Ms Atkinson hoped to welcome back art, photography, produce and more at next year's show.
"We're looking forward to having the full show next year."
