THE Friends of the Dalgety Women’s Day would like to thank all the ladies, volunteers, services, speakers and performers that attended or contributed to this year’s Dalgety Women’s Day.
AUSTRALIA’S Biggest Morning Tea is always very strongly supported in our district as the community throws itself behind the Cancer Council, and already two great events have been enjoyed to kick off the month’s fundraising.
OUR local primary school students from across the area competed in a variety of events as part of the Bombala and District PSSA Athletics Carnival last Thursday and Friday.
LAST Sunday the Anglican Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn visited Bombala for a Holy Communion Confirmation Service a St Matthias’ Church. Supported by relatives and friends and parishioners, Bradley Sutton was Confirmed by Bishop Stuart.
FOUR local school students met with industry representatives, Canberra Institute of Technology teachers and Apprentice Training organisers to complete paperwork to begin a School Based Apprentice and Traineeship program at Bombala High School last week.
