Coordinator Grantley Ingram said this year’s show – to be held in November – will be bigger and better than ever.
“This year we are very excited to have Angry Anderson with his Rock House Band,” he said.
“They are planning to play some of their own music and some really exciting covers.”
At the event they will raffle a Yamaha MT09 for one lucky winner and the three-day event is set to be jam-packed with great food, stalls and, of course, motorbikes on display.
There will be a bar, food stalls and a cafe area where people can kick back and relax.
“What we hope to do is showcase all the best flavours of Bombala, give visitors a taste of what the area can do,” Mr Ingram said.
“This year we hope to have a huge assortment of bands, including a folk band, and a large range of retail outlets to visit.”
Visitors can camp on the show grounds.
“Included in your ticket price will be a fire bucket or brazier in case you get a bit nippy,” Mr Ingram said.
The event aims to be a family friendly with displays from Jack Flare Motocross throughout the day as well as rides and much more.
“Last year we had a great range of kids’ activities and competitions,” he said.
“I’m just getting my hearing back from last year’s kids’ competition when the kids had to get on their bikes and get it started.
“They really made some noise.”
The Bombala show is in its fourth year and Mr Ingram says the community embraces the event.
“I think it’s become a great event because the community supports it, I’d be game enough to say that the majority of the people in Bombala have grown up riding bikes so they understand the fascination with this show,” he said.
“Bombala is a huge destination to come to for motorbike riders because we have some great roads to ride.
“At the event we will be having guided tours around for riders who are interested in exploring these.”
The show is scheduled to roar into town on November 15, tickets are selling fast so be sure to visit the website at www.bombalabikeshow.com.au
