Bombala Oztag kicked off again Thursday last week after the cold wet weather of the previous week. It was great to see old faces from last year and as well as a few new faces.
It’s not too late to come along and join in the fun and learn some new skills.
Thank you to Maree Coates for coordinating the upper primary group games and passing on her experience.
We look forward to seeing everyone Thursday at 4.30pm.
Junior Rugby League Rego Day
Thank you to all the players who came along and enjoyed a sausage sizzle on our rego day.
This year is a very promising year for Bombala with the revival of football back in to the community in both the junior and senior leagues as well as us welcoming our first girls into the mini competition in what has been a predominately boys sport.
Football is a great team sport for both boys and girls, it assists in the development of motor-skills, cognitive development, listening skills and taking instructions as well as learning valuable social skills, team work including cooperation, confidence building and respect for others.
We are wanting to enter as many sides as possible in the competition this year. Group 16 are running U7-10s, U12s, U14s, and U16s. If you or your child are interested bring them down to the Oztag Competitions held at 4.30pm on a Thursday afternoon on the Recreation Ground to talk to players, First Aid officers and coaches.
It’s not too late to register your child, contact Michelle Peisley, Registrar on 0427 585 340.
