We have been treated to rare little spots of sunshine over the past few days, and you can feel spring in the air as locals busily mow lawns and dry clothes following weeks of wet weather.
The wattle and daffodils have been bathing the area in bright yellow for some weeks now, and there are number of fruit trees coming into blossom despite the grey days.
And while we have been cursing the cool, wet weather at times, we can thank it for the lovely green backdrop we are enjoying, with a “good spring” on the cards thanks to the rain received in winter.
