Some activities for the day were drama games, a maths class, and an amazing race themed activity where students had to find staff and ask a specific questions designed to get to know the teachers.
This also helped students familiarise themselves with the layout of the school.
Fran Austin their year advisor explained the day to day workings of high school life and introduced the students to the administrative officers Raelene Stevenson and Kim Elton who walked the students through the daily routine of school and attendance procedures.
The highlight of the day for students was house spirit hour.
There are three houses at Bombala High School Rockton (blue house), Nalbaugh (yellow house) and Myamba (red house).
Most sporting activities in the school are associated with the houses and house spirit hour consists of activities designed to include the entire student body in a range of trivia and team building exercises that are a lot of fun and engage all the students.
Bombala High School has two days of house spirit activities during the course of the year with the last one being held on the last day of school.
The year 6 students thoroughly enjoyed Orientation Day and were a great addition to the days activities.
Bombala high School staff were impressed with the calibre of year 6 students and are looking forward to having them on board in 2016.
