Home invasion and assault
There was a serious home invasion and aggravated assault that occurred in Wellington Street, Bombala on Sunday, February 28 around 11am.

Two people at the address were assaulted with one person being taken to hospital and the other person receiving minor injuries.
The incident is currently being investigated by Monaro Detectives and Bombala Police.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact police at Bombala Police Station.
Logging truck rollover
A fully laden logging truck came to grief when it rolled on Bucky Springs Road, just past Bombala Tip around 7am on Friday, February 26.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance paramedics suffering minor injuries and the fire brigade attended the scene.
A heavy vehicle tow truck was dispatched from Bega to assist with the recovery of the truck and the road was reopened about 1.30pm.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated by police. There was nobody else injured in the accident and no other vehicle involved.
Don’t drink and drive
Bombala police have been conducting ongoing random breath testing in the area with two people testing positive in the last month.
They are due to face Bombala Local Court in April.
Fatal crash
A motorcyclist has died after his bike and a vehicle collided on the Snowy Mountains Highway on Wednesday, February 24.
The crash occurred at Connors Hill near Adaminaby, in the NSW Snowy Mountains, just after midday. The man, believed to be aged in his 60s, died at the scene.
The highway was closed following the crash.
Crime Scene Investigators were called to the incident with police appealing to the public for any information relating to the crash.
The male driver of the car suffered shock and was taken to Cooma Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
