A TAPITALLEE woman who pleaded guilty to multiple charges has been placed on a three-month suspended jail sentence, ordered to undertake 120 hours of community service, suspended from driving for 12 months and fined $1000.
Angela Catherine Shepherd, 24, of Yanderra Road, pleaded guilty before Magistrate Michael Stoddart on Monday to two counts of having goods suspected of being stolen, being in possession of a knife in a public place, driving while suspended and having a laser pointer in a public place.
The court heard she was found in possession of a knife in Nowra on May 9 last year, with Magistrate Stoddart sentencing her to 60 hours community service.
She pleaded guilty to being in possession of a Commonwealth Corporate card, a Commonwealth Bank Mastercard belonging to two different people and a knife in Nowra on July 10.
Magistrate Stoddart sentenced her to three months jail but imposed a suspended sentence and placed her on a good behaviour bond for three months and order she undertake another 60 hours of community service, meaning a total of 120 hours to be served concurrently.
Magistrate Stoddart fined her $500 after she pleaded guilty to being in possession of a laser pointer in Nowra on August 31.
Shepherd also pleaded guilty to driving while suspended in Nowra on November 16, with Magistrate Stoddart disqualifying her from driving for 12 months and fined her a further $500.
