The two groups developed the MOU to guide a strong partnership approach to the organisation of local NAIDOC Week events and to acknowledge each party’s contributions and responsibilities for the next five years.
Council’s Director of Community, Arts and Recreation Kathy Arthur said the MOU is a first for Eurobodalla. “Council has been working with EKEN on NAIDOC Week events for a decade or more and the relationship is one we really value,” she said.
“The MOU formalises our partnership and provides a framework of responsibilities between each party. It maintains our strong relationship in developing Eurobodalla’s NAIDOC Week and continued collaboration.
The MOU formalises our longstanding partnership and provides a clear framework of responsibilities between each party.
