On Saturday members played a Stroke for the monthly medal. Merv Douch had a good round winning with 64 nett winning the ball.
Sunday was Closing Day with a Mixed Chapmans event for the C & W Elton’s Trophies. It was good to have a great roll up where we welcomed visitors from WA, Kathie and Les Kishan. Kathie was a for Delegate resident and had returned home to visit family. They both enjoyed the course, although they were used to the sand greens, they were not used to grass on the fairways.
The winners were Di Ingram and John Vincent with a 69 nett. Balls were won by Di and John, Brendan Weston and Jean McLean 69 5/8 nett and Herbie Elliott and Eva L’Estrange 71 ½ nett.
