Organisers of a recent fundraiser for young Zac Sliwka were overwhelmed by the wonderful support and generosity shown by the Cooma and district community.
A fashion parade of beautiful gowns, fairies and elves, delightful dancers from Rosie O’Sullivans School of Dance, and very talented local musician Jay Podger was coordinated by Valmai Mylan of Cooma
The event raised more than $1550 to benefit Zac, who suffers from a serious medical condition.
The money raised will go towards much-needed equipment for Zac, which will give him greater independence in his daily life.
Zac’s family is extremely appreciative of the generosity of the community and the effort put into the parade by Ms Mylan.
