Sports clubs in Cooma and Jindabyne will benefit from NSW Government funding to buy new equipment, upgrade change rooms and run sports courses, the Member for Monaro John Barilaro said last week.
Mr Barilaro said the funding is part of the 2015/16 Local Sport Grant Program.

Mr Barilaro met with members of the Jindabyne Amateur Swimming Club to congratulate them on their successful funding grant last week..
“The main aim of this program is to increase regular and on-going participation opportunities in sport and active recreation in NSW,” Mr Barilaro said.
“Sport is a huge part of our way of life and the NSW Government recognises how important it is to our communities, for both social and health reasons.
“The government is committed to delivering the best infrastructure to the people of NSW and I look forward to seeing the benefits of this upgrade for the community.”
