Delegate Pony Club
Twelve Delegate Pony Club riders trekked down the mountain to attend Bega Pony Camp from Saturday, April 8 through to Tuesday, April 11. A spokesperson for the club said that all the riders had so much fun, formed new friendships and learnt new skills. The camp was at Bega Show ground with over 90 attendees. The troops were split into groups with age and riding ability taken into account. There were group leaders who organised the groups on a daily bases after gear checks till the end of the day. Each day the riders rode from Bega Show ground down to Bega Valley fields where all the training took part. Activities for the days consisted of Polo Cross, Jumping, Riding Class, Lead Class, Cross Country, Trail Riding, Sporting, Stockman's Challenge, Tent Pegging and a gymkhana.

Golf
On Wednesday, Bombala lady golfers played a Stableford for D Douch Trophy. There were some good scores, maybe the added sand to the greens made putting easier. The winner on a c/b was Joy Douch 39 pts from Betty Crawford 39 pts. Betty was the ball winner.
Members on Easter Monday played the final round of the Stableford starring for the Late R Baird Trophy. Ross Brown had a great round winning the trophy with 42 pts. (That was the only score in the 40’s over the holiday weekend.) Balls were won by Ross, Wayne Elton 36 pts, Merv Douch 36 pts, Phillip McIntosh 32 pts on a c/b. NTP on 17th - Ross Brown.
Saturday members played a Stroke for Monthly Medal. Again some good scores came in with Brad Yelds 62 nett winning from Ross Brown 66 nett. These chaps were the ball winners. Sunday was a 4 BBB Stableford for S Ingram and M Ingram Trophies. Winners were Paul Halligan and Ross Brown 52 pts (Ross says he wasn’t much help Paul carried him well). Runners up were Phillip McIntosh & Glen Hampshire 48 pts. NTP on the 17th - Ray Fermor.
