Delegate Pony Club

Twelve Delegate Pony Club riders trekked down the mountain to attend Bega Pony Camp from Saturday, April 8 through to Tuesday, April 11.  A spokesperson for the club said that all the riders had so much fun, formed new friendships and learnt new skills.  The camp was at Bega Show ground with over 90 attendees.  The troops were split into groups with age and riding ability taken into account.  There were group leaders who organised the groups on a daily bases after gear checks till the end of the day.   Each day the riders rode from Bega Show ground down to Bega Valley fields where all the training took part. Activities for the days consisted of Polo Cross, Jumping, Riding Class, Lead Class, Cross Country, Trail Riding, Sporting, Stockman's Challenge, Tent Pegging and a gymkhana.
