On Monday, four riders from the New Zealand Mounted Rifles Charitable Trust joined troopers from the Australian Lighthorse Association Bemboka Troop and members of the Snowy Mountains’ Horse Riders Association undertaking a commemorative tour of Snowy Monaro towns.

Around 7am on Monday morning the troop left Jindabyne and arrived in Bemboka around 9am where they had morning tea and a wreath laying ceremony before heading off to Bombala.
After the official wreath laying ceremony, led by Bombala sub-branch president, Rob Letts the party had a light lunch before heading off to Bungarby where they held a wreath laying ceremony and afternoon tea.
At the same time on Monday another group travelled from Jindabyne to Adaminaby, Berridale and Dalgety.
