Delegate students joined Bombala Public School for a day of experiments and practical applications of science and how it is applied in everyday lives.
The groups of students were split into 14 cross age groups that were able to explore many aspects of science that involved chemical and physical changes.
Students created edible flubber and bouncy balls as well as whipping up soap dish slime and sudsy slime.
Fire works in a jar, clouds, geometric bubble films, a Newton colour wheel and a ‘Skittle’ rainbows were also explored by students.
To top off the day were edible science investigations where students made great tasting honeycomb, flavoured sherbet and toffee.
The highlight of the week was a visit by scientist Dr Graham Walker who entertained the children with his Fire and Ice Science in the Snowies Show.
