More than 20,000 fans will pack WIN Stadium for the open-air spring concert, but what should you bring?
COMFORTABLE SHOES – You’ll be dancing all night to songs like “Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting”, “Bennie and the Jets” and “Crocodile Rock” so stilettos may not be the best idea.
AEROGARD – Or some other bug spray or fly swat to shew away the onslaught of Louie the Fly and his cousin Mozzie.
LIGHT JACKET / CARDIGAN – The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast warm temperatures but the venue is right next to the ocean while Elton John won’t be on stage until 6:30pm – when the sun goes down. If you tend to feel the cold, grab a jacket in case the evening sea breeze gets to you.
ID – You’ll need this for ticket collect if you’re grabbing them from the box office, or if you want to have a celebratory drink to cheers Elton.
EFTPOS Card – No need for cash as food and beverage outlets at the venue, WIN Stadium, will have EFTPOS facilities. ATMs will also be available at Gates A,C and D.
CAMERA – Small personal cameras and camera phones are okay. Professional cameras with detachable lenses and all video recording devices are not permitted and likely to be confiscated.
CONCERT TICKETS – You’ll be kicking yourself if you forget these!
